The idea for Cowbell Tees was born when i worked at a print shop that also made custom tees. I had made a few for myself referencing various movies and tv shows that i liked, and when i’d wear them out people would always ask where i got them. I figured i could start out with some of these inquired-about designs and have fun creating new graphics based on, among other things, The Big Lebowski, a favoured cult classic amongst myself and the lads.
I hooked up with trusted confidant and band mate The Captain, and together we formulated the initial design ideas that would launch the site in the Fall of 2010. We currently offer ten shirts on the site, featuring 5 original Lebowski designs, a couple of SOA-themed tees, a vintage Stillwater Almost Famous ’73 Tour shirt and guys and gals Fairmonts tees.
A line of actual ‘cowbell’ tees is currently in the works and will be rolled out as we expand into the fall. In the meantime, please pay us a visit!
