Hey guys wassup. Just a quick note as i'm off to work again, but i just got my tour pics up online. They consist mostly of venue and band shots, since that's about all we saw for 2 weeks, but there are a few shots from oot and aboot the lovely states of Cali, Washington and Oregon. Keep a special eye out for our overcast day at the beach, featuring Ty performing "The Mosquito", and my photo piece, again featuring Ty, of "passed out in public". You can dig'em here.
Just say it, baby! This photo was taken in the northlands of Ontario last weekend by Pat, who actually doubled back up the highway for the pic once he passed the sign! For that sir, we award you with a set of gold-plated diapers. Wear them with pride.
I have recently sent out some emails to some friends from what seems like another lifetime asking them for anything they can recall about the time we lived in Budapest, Hungary in 2001-2002. I decided that i want to chronicle the time in some sort of memoir/journal type thing, since i didn't really do it at the time. So if anybody from our european lives reads this please drop a line and share an old story! Here are some old BP pics i recently recovered from some older website files where i had them originally posted. They are shitty in quality, yet somehow perfect for that time. Also, please don't be alarmed at the last remaining photos of me with hair.
As mentioned in the previous top 5 upcoming concerts post, my former roommate, metal vagina and i got to meet the Crue briefly due to his ongoing label connections from his former job. A basic handshake, wassup and group photo op and out the door we went. As the stage manager told us before the show, "There are 2 meet and greets with the band. The first group are people who paid $400 for that meeting plus front row tickets. Then there's you guys." Nuff said - i'll take it anyway!
Oh how time flies after a vacation (and between blog entries). It has taken me several weeks to get around to doing this, but tonight i finally sat down with 2 CDs worth of pics and assembled the best ones online for your viewing pleasure.
The trip was fantastic; was great to get back to Budapest and see familiar faces and places, and of course to see Killer Dave in Prague (and over in BP) for the first time in a long while. The main cast involved in the pics would include myself, Metal C (or V, or Wee), Killer Dave, Rich (Gee) and many party guests present on a fab Saturday night for our good friend Josey's birthday bash, at which a hastily assembled musical performance was unleashed on an unsuspecting crowd to rave reviews.
We became soccer fans as Euro 2004 was in full swing just as we arrived. Many shots were taken of statues, buildings and cows. Beers were consumed at an alarming rate. We ate, drank, and became merry for 17 days before returning to the homeland worse for wear. The pix were collected from 3 different cameras (Chris, Killer and Rich) and presented below in 3 different galleries:
Josey's Birthday Bash (Budapest - Rich & Tara's Flat)
Enjoy!
Well, Chris has finally gotten off his butt and purchased batteries for his.... camera, which in turn allowed him to dump his New Year's pics off his camera. He jammed my email account full of jpegs last night that were all very cool, and here is a sampling of our bad selves at Chris and Larissa's apartment before the club mayem ensued. Only a few jackandcokes had been consumed at this point, so we could all still sit (mostly) upright. I am sporting my New Year's 2000 tie, which was purchased for the last New Year's Eve event that the three of us attended together before this past year.

The wedding pics are in. I think there ended up being 14 rolls total, and that was just from personal cameras, not the hired photographer! They look pretty sweet, with the requisite shots of guests and family drinking, dancing, drinking, eating, drinking, smiling and hamming it up. This is my sister Lara and i at the reception, rosy-cheeked and feeling fine. Don't i look killer in that tux? I hope so for $150 bucks! :)

Finally got out of town for a weekend and hit my cousin's new cottage up on 9 Mile Lake. It was a last minute call and i took off Saturday morning and headed for some blissful cottage action. Weather was sweet, the beers were flowing like wine, and managed to fit in some cliff jumping and swimming as well. Definitely worth the price of admission. I took some pics that i'll post up somewhere else, but here are a few thumbnails of my faves - my cousin Ryan and myself in serious party mode, on the lake and Ryan givin'er to a gator.
