Top 5 Tuesday Sixty-Eight

Top 5 Concerts Attended 2005

  1. Tom Petty/Black Crowes - Pine Knob. This wins out because it was my first Petty show, filled with da hits, along with the Crowes (second time last year) playing lotsa first album tracks. Also, Pine Knob (DTE Energy Theatre) is a fab place for an outdoor show, complete with the huge guitar beers.
  2. DMB - ACC. Best Dave i've seen, great seats, live bootleg a week after courtesy of the Bri Man.
  3. Pearl Jam - JLC. I heard the t.dot show was a bit cooler, but i wasn't at that one!
  4. Black Crowes - Kool Haus. My first taste of the Crowes in a while, complete with a heavy dose of Southern Harmony, and live CDs right after the show. Far fucking out.
  5. The Crue - JLC. Not as good as the Dr. Feelgood tour back in their prime, but a welcome spectacle nonetheless back onto the concert scene, save for Vince's sporadic vocal dropouts.

Vagina,
maybe if you'd threw on a little Zucker or something of that sort, your nights wouldn't end with simply makin' out and fingerin'some chick! maybe, just maybe, you might even get laid!

but don't take my word for it, continue with your Flock of Seagulls and Scorpions.....good luck shithead!!!! lol

Posted by: Steve-o on January 26, 2006 04:56 PM

With such standouts as "Zuckerbaby", "Copyright", I didn't realize this was a "Name every Canadian band that has ever existed" contest.

And don't even get me started on Fucking Hayden.

4. Jack Johnson - This was my first Jack Johnson show and it will NOT be my last! FANTASTIC! The opening act, Matt Costa, was a delight as well.
