Rock Star Go Home

I'm not sure how many, if any of you are going to follow the rock ride that is Rockstar: INXS, but if you are interested there is a fantasy-league type thing going on here at Rock Star Go Home! The fun part is you choose who is getting the boot, not who is sticking around. Some cash and prizes are available to the top 5 finalists. It's worth a shot - give me what i need!

Dearest Brooke Burke and Dave Navarro,

At first the show sounded great, where we would all be able to compete against eachother and whoever wins, gets to live the luxe life of a Rockstar: doing tours all over the world. Not foegetting doing some studio time; maybe even cut an album if we're lucky. Thia all sounded all too cool, and a little too unreal for me. That's why I wanted so badly to be on the show. But when I heard it was going to be with the band INXS, my heart just sank. You see, I think INXS are crazy to think that they need a lead singer. They've already got one. See, after Michael Hutchence'(the lead singer of INXS)died in 1997, they were in dire need of another lead singer. They didn't want to go through all the pain and agony of breaking up, and they knew that they would probably fall apart if they didn't find another musician soon. So, then they hired a man named Jon Stevens, who offered to take the place of the late rocker, Hutchence, as lead; and he's still with them today. So, these kids that are trying out for that top spot, and the members of INXS, have got to realize that this really is not going to work. Because eventually, the ones that get voted off, if they have the willpower, will probably be famous anyways. Also, if they get lead into that scheme of performing with the group of INXS, they will most likely want to be along for the ride and be guest stars for the group instead of being lead singers. Also, the poor kids will probably get bored within 3 months, and say that they would rather do the gigs themselves, and be able to rock in their own band. Because, they will of had enough of the old guys, in thinking that they are there to boss them around(just like their parents used to do). That is why I think in my opinion, that it is kind of pointless. But I still watch it
because, I love the kids. I love to see them perform. I think it's great. My bet is that JD will win. But, if he doesn't make it, and he gets booted off, I think that he will probably make it into the big time anyway; because, I know he wants it really bad.

Sincerely,
your concerned and 'upset' 'fan'
Brenna 'BeaJay' Finch

PS. I am oh so glad that Neil got eliminated last night; because the truth is, is that he can' sing. The poor kids' 'Tone Deaf'. Well, being 'Tone Deaf' isn't a bad thing, it's just that you are limited to certain things you can do. Some people are just born that way. You know, that night when he stood on stage with that bright red guitar, I thought he looked great. But, when he stated 'singing', I was appalled. He did one of the songs I like from one of my favorite artists. The song was supposed to be a melodic song, and when he came in and stated 'singing', he ruined it all. That's why I cheered when he left. Even before he left, he was asked to 'sing' an INXS song, and they chose for him to do "Suicide Blond". He still did a bad job on it. So, he was asked to leave, because, INXS clearly stated that he is just not right to be a Rockstar. I'm suprised that he didn't just leave like Will did. Instead, it seemed that no one wanted to see him go, so he got lots of hugs and kisses from the crowd, and from his fellow rockers too.

I haven't missed an episode yet.... the chicks are gonna clean up ... none of the guys have the talent the ladies do. My pick is the red head Heather.
But what do I know - I think Justin and Scott are good musicians...........
