While it has been suggested to me to post about the Live 8 concerts over the weekend, the fact is i didn't catch one single performance - yet. I was cottaging, sans cable, which was lovely. I'm assuming that a concert of this stature would warrant replaying at some point, even just a 'best of' segment compiled from all concerts. If anyone caught any of the rockin', especially Pink Floyd or Neil Young, please drop a quick comment and fill me (us) in! Keep on rockin' in the free world.
Posted by scotty at July 04, 2005 07:39 AMPIGS HAVE FLOWN!!!! It was beatiful! Waters was like a kid...he looked so excited and even Gilmore had a couple of smiles during the 4 song set. WORLD TOUR? As for the Barrie content, they only showed "Home Sweet Home" by the Crue and that dismal Celine Dion display (good cause or not, she sounded terrible). Other highlights were The Who, Velvet Revolver (I swear they had there "A" game on), Joss Stone (she's so cute), and Snoop.

It was beautiful!!Gord n I caught the afternoon shows like Simple Plan..yadda yadda!(they kept referring the Barrie crowd to Toronto)I had to work but the whole bar was aware of my anticipation to catch Neil n Roger Waters....WOW!!All I can say is wish I was there("wish u were here")Neil looked better than ever-first time on stage since his brain mishap!Rockin out hardcore for an 'old man'!! :)...cant wait for Plant!!
