Top 5 Tuesday XXXX

After watching The Life Aquatic over the past couple of late nights i decided that this week's top 5 should be a tribute to the legend that is Bill Murray. While his body of work is vast, i understand that some may not have 5 favourite Bill films, so you can also just drop in with your 1 fave, if you like.

Top 5 Bill Murray Films

  1. Stripes - My original fave Bill movie, much improvising, funny as hell, and actually quite inspirational. "I gotta dry out, or i'll be dead before i'm 30."
  2. Lost in Translation - Beautiful, paced performance of a lost man sprinkled with the touches of humour only Bill can provide.
  3. Kingpin - What else can i say? It's Big Ern!!
  4. What About Bob? - Zany, child-like Bill at his best.
  5. Groundhog Day - The asshole Bill is finally tamed by the end of this exceptional, single day film.

Honourable Mentions - Too many to fit into 5 picks of course, so i have to re-introduce the hon. mention section of the top 5. The Life Aquatic gets my current Bill vote, and Caddyshack for the "caddying for the Dali Lama" monologue. So I've got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Added Bonus - Bill Murray Quiz. Don't kid yourself - it's tough! Even a seasoned Bill fan such as myself managed a meagre 50% on this bad boy. Give it a shot and post your result with your movies.

1. Ghostbusters - " Who you gonna call?"
2. Lost in Translation - Bill Murray is sexy again and to a younger generation of woman.
3. Caddyshack - he may have only been in the movie for about 10 mins, but he is probably the most memorable charater to this day...except for that fuckin' gopher.
4. Scrooged - A great Christmas classic. Way to go Lumpy!
5. What About Bob? - You just can't help but to love Bob.

the skydome, or rogers centre, or whatever it is, is a vast cavern of useless space that was only full back when the jays were winning world series'. after that for football, baseball, and anything else it's too fucking big!! that, and fans from toronto suck as fans in general.

I was going to say what "They call me the Bri Man" said. There's CaddyShack, and then everything else.

Somewhere just off the radar screen Lost in Translation then Stripes appear.

The Blue Jays are killing me! What is wrong with Toronto fans? Why does Sky Dome always appear mostly empty?
