Super Bore XXXVII was just that as the Raiders took to heart the no fly zone that was placed on the game and left their offence back in Oakland. Although slightly interesting near the end with a moderate comeback attempt, the Bucs D capped'er with the big INT for a TD. I think Gannon completed more passes to the Bucs than to his guys. It all just goes to prove the old saying - offence wins games, defence wins championships. Did anybody see Warren Sapp on the Jimmy Kimmel show waaay after the game? Not so funny, except for the fact they were drinking liberally from a cold bottle of Voddy. I'll place a bet that viewership drops by 75% for his next show tonight! And that caps another season - Pro Bowl anyone?

At least her lipsync skills are top notch. No Doubt was good with a different rendition of "I'm Just a Girl", but it would have been nice if Sting could have sung by himself. "Message in a Bottle" is a great song and I'm glad that is the one he performed, but I would have loved to see more Sting. All in all a very poor half time show in my opinion.
On a different note, tonight I'm going to see this amazing musician from Austrailia. His name is Xavier Rudd. The first time I went out in Whistler, was to see this guy. He blew me away!!!! I'm very excited to go to a live show and feel the energy move through my body. It's been way to long! I miss being with the band.

Sorry, Readin Irvine Welsh always throws me off. For the record Porno (The sequel to Trainspotting) is pretty good.
As for Kimmel, Jimmy seemed nervous, but I liked the vibe - asking questions that no sane host would (asking Snoop why he quit smoking the Sonny Chiba, digging for details on the Raider's Center getting kicked off the team etc etc, slagging off Celine Dion etc)
Any show that has Snoop as a guest host for a week has promise.
