What a crazy weekend of NFL playoff action. Saturday's games were both shocking blowouts, while Sunday's games started as blowouts only to have the home teams stage monstrous comebacks in the second half and squeeze out victories. Great football to watch! Hats of to Jeff Garcia of the 49ers, a former CFL all-star with the Stampeders, who orchestrated the second biggest second half comeback in NFL history apparently! I love seeing the CFL guys head south and tear it up, a la Warren Moon, Flutie, Vanderjagt, etc.
Bummer about the Canadian Junior team, who once again earned a silver medal to Russia's gold. We were one defensive lapse away from a gold! Looking forward to seeing some of the guys up in the NHL playing some of the spirited hockey they displayed here - good work guys!
