Out damn song!

While i'm not really a big fan of Eminem whatsoever, although there were a few tracks off his second album that i dug, i can't get his new single from the movie 8 Mile out of my head! It's actually got some great rhyming in it and a hypnotic guitar riff, along with a positive message to the song! What is going on with that? Don't think i'll actually make it out to the movie, but that song, that damn song....

I myself am not a big fan of the guy only because of the media hype but I did see the movie and it was really good. If your an aspiring entertainer of some sort you will relate to alot in the movie.

Scotty, Go see it, you won't be disappointed at all. It almost makes you a fan........almost.

Having Australians sitting next to you is a plus? ;)

I'm unlikely to ever buy an Eminem album, but I do enjoy some of his stuff, he's rather amusing, and manages to tap into that little bit of all of us that we don't particuarly like. Call me an old spinster (go on, I'll hit you), but I wouldn't want my kids listening to him though.

Hey Finny,
It really is a great song! I hear it all the time up here. The radio station I listen too plays a lot of great music. Not like FM 96 CRAP!

Speaking of music, I'm sitting in an internet cafe (The Daisy, to be exact) and they are playing great music. When I sat down at my computer, Cripple Creek was playing, then Saturday Night by the Bay City Rollers! Now they are playing We Will Rock You! And I've got to Aussies sitting next to me! Man I love Whistler!! Get your ass out here!

Don't feel too bad... Eminem has finally beaten me down as well. To the point where I actually will see the movie, and probably will buy the single. *hangs head*

Honestly, its not a cliche, once you do look past the hype surrounding him, he really is pretty talented. He's got this... command, or understanding, of the English language that's beyond me at times. You wouldn't think it'd work, but somehow he makes it work.
