Marital Blissters

The wedding pics are in. I think there ended up being 14 rolls total, and that was just from personal cameras, not the hired photographer! They look pretty sweet, with the requisite shots of guests and family drinking, dancing, drinking, eating, drinking, smiling and hamming it up. This is my sister Lara and i at the reception, rosy-cheeked and feeling fine. Don't i look killer in that tux? I hope so for $150 bucks! :)

180 guests attended, and i must say the weather gods were on our side. During the rehearsal dinner on friday night it was raining with biblical fury, but Saturday turned out to be sunny and fairly mild, as did Sunday for the big brunch back at my parents' place. Was a blast, and they almost tossed my grandmother out of the hotel for disturbance! At 85, she can still party with the best of 'em, and her hotel room was party central. After the wedding we stuffed her room with people that were still looking to carry on, and fired up the acoustic guitar and drinks for a 2 AM singalong. You haven't heard Kumbaya or Michael Row Your Boat Ashore until you've heard my grandma give them her all. We barreled through Dan's songbook and through 2 noise complaints before we stealthily moved the party down the hall to my aunt and uncle's room to bring it home just after 4 AM with about a half-dozen die-hards, myself included. Best wishes to my sister and my new (and only) brother-in-law Chris. They don't read my blog so i won't carry on and get all mushy. ;)

thanks guys. joan rivers actually loved me in the tux, but i made the "what the hell is he wearing" list with the slinky little strapless number i slipped into later. and yes i have also heard rumours of me heading up to TO around my birthday. who starts these things?

Finny-- you both look stellar. Congrats to your sister, although I've never met her...
Wilsons reported a trip to TO around your bday-- ya? Bring on a new decade big-city style? It's on my calendar....

I think you look pretty snazzy.. Joan Rivers would have nothing but good things to say about this one.
