What to say?

I wasn't planning on posting today, because what can you really say that hasn't already been said and felt a million times? I just wanted to say that for anyone that was living out of the country one year ago today (i was in Budapest, Hungary) it feels "right" to be back living in North America today. The isolation i felt being removed from family and friends here at that time, and not knowing when or if i could make it back, was an emptiness i never want to feel again and has given me an entirely new appreciation for my country. It's good to be home.

Thank you Scott! We had a nice chat last night about how we felt about this day. I did feel very blessed to be at home with my parents. I was very worried about friends of mine that were living in the US at the time. I didn't hear word from them for weeks. It was a very scary time for everyone. In my opinion, the best way to show respect on this day is to take some quiet time to yourself and reflect on those feeling we felt a year ago today.
